The deployment of an Ecuadorian network connected to BITrum’s research and educational cooperation framework is among the objectives of the project approved by the Ecuadorian funding programme PROMETEO to be developed by BITrum’s coordinator, José María Díaz, between 2014 and 2016. One of its first results is the education and scientific cooperation agreement with the Ecuadorian University of Santa Elena. Its development foresees several acting lines as the publication of the second glossariumBITri (gB) edition, the establishment of a journal linked to gB, the development of research and educational projects in interdisciplinary methodologies including the interdisciplinary study of information (according to the approach posed in PRIMER initiative, launched by BITrum in 2012).
