As it has been previously informed, BITrum is co-organiser of the VI International Conference on the Foundations of Information Science (FIS-2010) in Beijin, China, this summer. We encourage member to partake or contribute with papers (you can find the call in BITrum calls-board, in the main page, deadline: 31 May). All paper will be published in TripleC and a selection will be afterwards published in Entropy (which impact factor and prestige may be worth in academic careers) call in BITrum-site, Congress webpage.
Concerning domusBITae initiative (we have given information about it previously) we planned to present it in several international gatherings to warranty impacts, specially in FIS2010. Although this plan could fail lacking support, it was rescued by the Science of Information Institute, congress chairs and the Chinese hosts by supporting the travel expenses of one representative. From BITrum coordination we wish to express our gratitude and the satisfaction for seeing our efforts flowing.
